1. Who We Are

AdsWav is operated by SWH Alpha Sdn. Bhd., a company registered in Malaysia. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean SWH Alpha Sdn. Bhd.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use AdsWav:

  • Email address — provided through Google OAuth when you sign in.
  • Business information — your business name, website URL, and description that you provide during onboarding.
  • Google Ads account data — campaign structures, ad groups, keywords, ad copy, bid settings, and account configuration.
  • Campaign performance metrics — impressions, clicks, conversions, spend, cost-per-click, and other reporting data from Google Ads.
  • OAuth tokens — encrypted access and refresh tokens used to manage your Google Ads account on your behalf.

3. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored in Supabase (Singapore region). OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage — we never store tokens in plain text.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies, meaning each user can only access their own data.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Create, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns on your behalf.
  • Generate AI-powered advertising strategies tailored to your business.
  • Monitor campaign performance and trigger safety mechanisms (emergency brakes).
  • Send you email updates about campaign performance and important changes.
  • Improve the service based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We share data with the following third-party services only as needed to operate AdsWav:

  • Google Ads API — to create and manage your ad campaigns. Your Google Ads data is accessed via OAuth with the permissions you granted.
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — to generate campaign strategies, ad copy, and optimisation decisions. We send your business context and campaign data to Claude for AI processing.
  • Resend — to deliver email notifications (daily updates, weekly summaries, emergency alerts).
  • Sentry — to monitor application errors. Sentry may receive technical error data, but we do not intentionally send personal information to Sentry.

6. Data Retention

We keep different types of data for different periods:

  • Campaign data (structures, ad copy, keywords, settings) — retained while your account is active.
  • Performance metrics (daily snapshots of clicks, spend, conversions, etc.) — 90-day rolling window. Older daily snapshots are deleted automatically.
  • AI action logs (what AdsWav changed and why) — retained for 1 year, then deleted.
  • Email logs (records of notifications we sent you) — retained for 1 year, then deleted.
  • Google Ads OAuth tokens — deleted immediately when you disconnect your Google Ads account or revoke access.

If you request full account deletion, we will remove all your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We may retain anonymised, aggregate data (with all personally identifiable information removed) for the purpose of improving our AI optimisation algorithms and service quality. This anonymised data cannot be used to identify you or your business.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Delete your account — request that we delete all your data.
  • Disconnect Google Ads — revoke AdsWav's access to your Google Ads account at any time from Settings.
  • Export your data — request a machine-readable export of your data.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for OAuth tokens at rest.
  • HTTPS for all data in transit.
  • Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase to isolate user data.
  • Environment variables for all secrets and API keys (never stored in code).

No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us immediately at hello@adswav.ai.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
